Casey James plays High Noon Saloon for radio US 101 WUSY in Chattenooga!

Casey took the stage tonight at about 7:00 pm EST and it was soon obvious that Casey was talkative again!!  My.....how I love it when he does this!!  Before some of the songs he would talk a little about it, or whatever crossed his mind at the moment!  LoL!!  He talked about a lot of different things tonight, all pertaining to music, I think!  I was listening in on a conference call and the talking parts of the show were difficult to understand, but when he sang.....Wooooo he would raise the roof!!!!  And the crowd was rowdy and loud and loving what they were hearing!!!  I was applauding here in my living room....lol!!!  You could tell he was satisfying every person's personal song wish as he delivered one scorching tune after the other!!  We will have video coming later, and pictures, but I'll go ahead and tell yall....this was one Bad *** show!!!  I so wish I could have been there!!!!

Because of twitter we got some really good feedback from the fans all during the show!!  It started off with Casey 'threatening' to play the classic southern rock tune....'Freebird'!  The crowd would have eaten that up....but he only teased them a little....as they yelled and pleaded for him to take off with it!!
He actually started his set with a bluesy tune, I had never heard him sing, called Georgia take me home.  It's an old Tab Benoit tune.  He also sang another of his songs before the night was over!!  But the crowd was WILD for what he was doing, and they kept yelling louder, screaming with passion, and even singing along at times!!!  This was a fantastic crowd, and you know Casey loved that!!!

 Before playing 'I Lied', which we haven't heard in quite some time, he told the crowd that he had written it with Tom Petty in mind, because he has always been a fan of his!!  Ok....good to know!  Because I too have always been a Tom Petty fan!!  :)

While he was chatting away at the crowd, he confirmed that 'The Good Life' was indeed on the album!!!!!  ok  yall.....that just made my entire...... rest of the year!!!!!!  Wooo Hoooo!!!  I love that song, and have hoped it would land on that album, due out in February!!

At one point during his show he asked the crowd to make some noise....One side and then the other....and let me tell ya....they were LOUD!!!!!  I think he likes all the noise.....he almost seems uncomfortable in silent situations!  Maybe it's because he's always played in all those bars for years, where he had to sing over the chatter.....hmmm

He exited the stage a little earlier than planned because he wanted to make sure he had time for the M&G.  Some were wondering what else was left on that setlist!  I'd like to know that too!!  He sang a 12 song set as it was.....I wonder what else he might have sang.....maybe 'So Sweet' which didn't make the cut tonight....or even 'Show Me a Bridge'.  Unless somebody got the setlist, we might never know.... :)

This Chattanooga show was a very high energy show, even though Casey told a fan he had a fever and his throat felt scratchy.  I knew he was getting worse!  Well, bless his heart, hopefully he can get some medicine that will get him through the next two shows, in Florida, so he can go home and get to the Dr. and get some really good medicine that will work.  I hope he goes to the Dr. anyway!  Medicine you buy over the counter only helps the 'symptoms' of colds and sinus problems, it takes antibiotics to get rid of the bad stuff.
Well, my wish is that he feels better tomorrow and has a great next 2 days before heading home from this 5 day radio tour!

Here is my friend Sylvia from Alabama, whom I've known for 4 years!  Seeing this picture just warms my heart!  Casey's music and sweet nature finally convinced her to go see a show, and she is walking on sunshine from the conversation I had earlier with her!!  She just loves Casey and his very sweet nature!  And loved his show....she was nearly speechless!!   NOT!!!  She was yacking  away with me earlier all about it!!  My battery finally died on my phone and we had to hang up, or we might still be talking about what a great show this was for her!!!   I couldn't be happier!!  I think Casey has gotten at least one more fan tonight!!!  LOL!!!!  But seriously,  we know....for a fact.....he got more than one more fan....he's making fans at every stop on this radio tour!!  I'm just so happy for him!!

I just ran across this one earlier on twitter, and I think it's such a cute picture, I'm not sure exactly who took it, but what a great idea!  They were tweeting it with the caption....'Can you find find the Casey boot?  Or something close to that....lol!   Thanks to whoever this pic belongs to ... I love it!!!

Earlier in the day, Casey gave a guitar lesson to the lucky winner from the radio station!  Then at the end of the lesson, he gives her the guitar and signs it!!!  Congratulations to Sarah!!!  What a great prize to win!!!  Check it all out in the video below!!  Thanks to radio station US 101!!!

Casey took the stage tonight with the other 4 acts....Thompson Square, Josh Thompson, Kellie Pickler and Sunny Sweeney.  It was tweeted that Casey helped Sunny with removing her jacket.  I hope a picture comes through of that....how sweet....a true southern gentlemen.  In the Guitar Pull fashion, they were all on stage together, and each took turns singing songs.  Casey sang 4 songs, one at a time:

These, in my opinion were the best 4 songs he could have picked, because each shows off his bluesy vocals, as well as his country vibe, and last but certainly not least, his mad guitar skills!!  Did yall notice how the crowd was reacting to him, especially during LDCIAN and DRIVE!!!!  OMG.....mad mad guitar skills!!!  He even looked toward the end like he had just whipped the crap outta that guitar and was about to put it to bed!!!!  :)   And his humble "thank you's".....and the look on his face when the crowd kept ON CHEERING!!!  I was told they kept on cheering after the video ends!!!  The look on his face was priceless!!!!  And I can't think of another person more deserving to get that kind of reaction out of people!!!!!  Yay!!!  :)

In other news.....Casey's beautiful video debuted on Country Music Station GAC (Great American Country) at about 7:16 tonight!!  And for once....I was on top of it!!!  I was so proud as I watched it, for about the 1000th time!!   So yall know what that means.....The new video is now on the Top 20 countdown which airs on Friday nights at 7:00 pm CT.  I must warn everyone and I can't express enough, this is a 1 vote Countdown.  They say on the page if more votes are manipulated by the fans, the artist will be penalized and not receive votes.  So please, all I ask, is to vote once (1)  per day, so Casey does not get penalized!   You can vote once per i p address.  So this is where we need to ask our family, friends, co-workers, or anybody else who has a different I P address, to please give Casey their one vote a day.  That is not hard to do, one vote, so easy!  You can also use Facebook and Twitter to send links to people to vote.  Click HERE to vote now!!

Today, before his show at the Orange Peel, Casey stopped by radio station Q104.1 WTQR in Greensboro, NC, for a visit and sing a couple songs for the radio staff and a few winners.  They were so kind to post these awesome videos and pictures of the visit!

Ok....I'm out of here for now....don't yall forget, Casey has another show tomorrow in Chattenooga, Tennessee, at the Chattenooga Billiards Club!   And I know a LOT of people who are going to this show!!!  One in particular, Sylvia, my good friend for  over 4 years, and my fellow Bucky fan, is going to see Casey for the first time at this show!!!  I am so excited for her, and would give anything to see her face when she sees Casey start playing and singing!!  I'll be back tomorrow night to follow all the action as it happens!!  I'll probably hang out on twitter a little bit to see if we can get some ring side action!!  I do believe there is a caller for this show, so there is going to be a conference call for us!!  Stay tuned to Caseymania on Facebook, for more information!!

Pics from Charlotte NC show last night, plus Casey in Asheville NC tonight and other news!

Hey Everybody!!  I didn't mean to be gone so long, but last night, Casey's show in Charlotte, didn't really have anything to post till late, so I will post some of what happened here now.  But first, I  wanted to let everyone know that Casey is in Ashville, NC tonight, at The Orange Peel.  Radio station WKSF 99.9 Kiss Country is sponsoring tonights 2011 Guitar Jam, and the show starts at 7:30 ET.  It is a benefit concert for the Missions Childrens Hospital.  
I will post a couple things about last nights show along with some other stuff, later on.   I will probably have to post this and come back and update a couple times....so yall hang in there....I'll get 'er done....sooner or later!!  :)


Here's a few group pictures of Casey and all those who were with him last night for the Guitar Pull at the Fillmore in Charlotte, NC.  This was a Charity event concert to benefit the St. Judes Childrens Hospital.  All the artists are on the stage at the same time, taking turns singing and BS-ing!  They are usually a lot of fun, with audience participation sometimes!!  Casey was joined by The Eli Young Band (love 'em!!), Thompson Square, and James Wesley.  Thanks to radio station WKKT 96.9 Kat Country for these photos!

Casey Live at Hard Rock Cafe in Nashville for MOC Anniversary!!

Wow!!!  What a great show in Nashville tonight!!  I was fortunate enough to get to watch a Live Ustream of the whole show.....Meet and Greets and all!!!  It was fantastic!!!  Great big THANKS going out to Val & Kevin Nixa from @NixaCountry radio for streaming the whole thing for us live!!!
Tonights show was the 4th Anniversary of the Musicians on Call.  An organization that goes to hospitals and such playing and singing their music for sick people who cannot get out to see live shows.  Casey said tonight, this is what he used to do back home in Ft. Worth with his mother, Debra.  They would play various nursing homes and hospitals to bring some cheer to the ailing.  That is so Casey!!  Always giving....  He mentioned in the very beginning, that THE ALBUM IS DONE!!!  His words exactly!!  He said he only needed to do one more chorus or verse, not exactly sure what he said, but he also said it is ok for him to now tell us, the Album will be out in February!!!  Yay!!!  I'm so excited to get my hands on that album!!

Before he started singing the 'Untitled' song, he said  he was gonna do "Love the Way You Miss Me", or "Miss Me When I'm Gone"....... Yes!!  Then he said it was ON THE ALBUM!!!   I'm so happy to hear that....as was many others, I'm sure!!  There we have it.....straight from the horses mouth, as they say down here....it's down to 2 choices now!!  And seems to me that the 1st one may be the one he likes best, only because he said it first!!  Speaking of which....the poll  I had here on the blog for 2 weeks, ended yesterday with "Love the Way You Miss Me" winning out in a big way over the other titles, with a whopping 56% of the votes!!  Thanks to all who participated in the poll!!

Wow!!  Well, this is what we wanted.....and boy is it ever happening!!!  Casey is being interviewed by some of the biggest names in the business!!!  Crook and Chase??   Blair???  This is amazing for his career!!!   The more people who get to see and hear him talk about his single and other things, the better!!  There is more today!  So look below and you'll find more interviews, and get ready to laugh....because some are hilarious!!  And, I may have to start posting smaller posts as they come in, I can't keep up any other way....I get too far behind.

WQIK out of Jacksonville, Fl. interviewed by Toni, had a nice informative interview.  Casey says he still has to 'mind' his momma! :)  Gotta love it!! lol....And.....Casey puts to rest the rumors about lip syncing in the groups songs on Idol!

Woody & Zuko of WCOL in Columbus, Ohio, were in a rip-roaring laugh-fest with Casey!!  They ask what Casey uses on his hair, & when Casey doesn't want to disclose that information, they guess.....it's a girlie product.....mane and tail?  I love this interview....so fun!!  Lot's of Casey Laugh out Loud's!!!

Casey attended the 59th annual BMI Country Awards last night, in Nashville, Tn.  And here is a shot from the Red Carpet!  Casey looks nice in Blue....
