Single reviews, new shows, new photos, and more.....

Hey!  I'm back again....only because I haven't finished catching up with everything yet!!  It's been raining in Texas and everybody is doing the happy dance here!  But we are still in a drought, and probably will be for a while.  We're so far behind on rainfall....it's crazy!  But it does feel good here, yet I haven't stopped using my AC completely yet.  But soon, I hope, I can cover it up for the winter. My boxer girl Brandy is fine, feeling good, and in a couple weeks she has the rest of the heart worm treatments.  She has been getting loaded up on Antibiotics so she will be able to fight off the potential pneumonia when the other treatments start.  I'll keep yall posted.  Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts, they are so appreciated!!

I spoke with Bucky's girlfriend, Katherine, tonight, and she doesn't know whether or not she will be in Kansas City for that show where both Casey and Bucky are on the same stage.  But said she might be able to come to it, so we'll see.  If she is there, she may be able to be the one person that can help me get that very important picture I want to have hanging on my wall!!
We'll see what happens.  She is such a beautiful girl too....and just as sweet as can be....a real delight to be around!  :)

Dixie Streams an online radio station, had nothing but good things to say about "Let's Don't Call It A Night" on their website with a very nice review of the single!

"As the title blatantly suggests, the song is based off the simple plot of not wanting a magical and sensual night to end. After watching a special lady move to the music and feeling her in his arms, he wants the evening to continue into the morning hours."
"While the tune is undeniably sultry, it manages to be tastefully fun and flirtatious. The arrangement, which is infused with bluesy inflections, beautifully sets the tone and draws a listener in from the start with an infectious appeal."

Yahoo! Music's Reality Rocks, Lyndsey Parker wrote about the debut of Casey's new music video for "Let's Don't Call It A Night," referring to Casey as the 'one great blonde hope' for 'American Idol Season 9'.  She went on to say......

One thing’s certain: The camera certainly loves Casey. And I’d imagine that a lot of country fans would love this song.”  She also complimented the song and its video, writing “Along with Casey’s obviously marketable golden-guitar-god image, the song is catchy and seems like it would appeal to fans of both mainstream and classic country, as well as classic rock."

Below you will find some very eye pleasing photos of Casey when he performed at Belle Vernon Area High School after they won  a contest against another school.  It was sponsored by radio station Y 108 with a logo of 'Pittsburgh's BEST Country'!  On their website there is a whole gallery of just beautiful Casey shots as he performed for the High School teenagers and faculty.  He sang a 4 song set, with the McPherson Acoustic, to a packed school auditorium.

If I'm not mistaken there have been 3 new shows added since yesterday!  There's so much going on, it's been hard trying to catch up!  I'm gonna have to stay on top of this stuff, as much as my ailing computer will allow me to, that is.

The first one, I think I've already talked about but I have more info now.  It's the one at Lakeland, Florida, on 11/18/11, at the Music Ranch.  It's sponsored by 97 Country WPVC.  Starting yesterday, 11/8 at 7:30am, you can pick up a pair of FREE Tickets, while they last, at the 97 Country studios at 404 West Lime St. in Lakeland, Fl.  Limit 2 per person, and you must be 18 yrs. or older to pick up tickets.  Please bring your I.D.

In January, not sure of the date as yet, is the 1st scheduled show of 2012, and it will be in Milwaukee, Wi. at the Potawatomi Bingo and Casino.  Radio station 106.1 WMIL is sponsoring a show called the "Class of 2012" and Casey will be there.  Stay tuned, as more information comes in, I will post it here.

On 11/12/11, in just a few days, Casey will be appearing (a last minute addition) at the Hard Rock Cafe, in Nashville, Tn. as the opener for radio station WSIX The Big 98's 4th Anniversary Concert for Musicians On Call (MOC), which deliver live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities.  For informations and tickets click the link above.

And the last new show we know about is in Detroit, Michigan area on 1/19/11 and sponsored by radio station 99.5 WYCD.  They are running a contest for area High School students & the prize to win is a private show by our own Casey James!  It will be held at the winning school's auditorium.  For more information click HERE.

I will update the sidebar with the new shows tomorrow sometime, I am beat and my eyes are killing me, so I'm gonna get out of here for now....
More to come tomorrow, so check back.....

Until then.....

CMA week in Nashville w/interviews galore! New shows, album talk, and more!

Wow, what a crazy time going on in Nashville this week.  I forgot that this week is crazy with interviews leading up to the CMA awards on Wednesday night!  Well, to be honest with ya, this little glitch I've had for a couple days has put me behind....so I'm gonna do a lot of posting and not a lot of talking!!  :)  Well, maybe a little....  There are so many videos of interviews, and it's all so exciting!!  Casey recognizes some of the radio personalities and it's just plain good fun watching him interact with these people!!  His humor is in high gear too, as he feeds off of the radio personalities and their wittiness!!

Road to the CMA Awards with Casey James

Casey negative???  Haha!!  That WAS a long time ago!!

Casey James interview with XTU during CMA week.

Sleep deprived???   Naaaawwwww  not Casey!!  :D  I was so glad to hear he had a day to just SLEEP!!!  He needs those days as busy as he's been!

Casey James Interview-WQDR 94.7 fm  2011 CMA Awards

This is written Questions that come up on the screen, then Casey answers.  ALBUM??  February??  Really???  Oh that is GREAT news!!!  Just in time for my birthday!!!  :)

Casey James Interview-2011 CMA Awards-99.9 Kiss Country

OMG!!  This was so funny!!!   "FuFu girlie scented candle song!!!"  Hahaha!!!!  Love it!!!  And on his own style, when the DJ talked in comparison to Dolly Parton Casey said he could "Wake up put the wig on....ready to go!!"  OMG!!!  I'm laughing so hard right now!!!   This was a VERY good interview!!!

Bama & Heather in Nashville - Casey James

OMG!!! He loves Boxers!!  I must show him pics of mine!!

KRS 2011 CMA Casey James

New show announced right there!  Milwaukee in January!!  And for those who may be in the dark about Casey's life altering accident, he talks about it here.  Telling us things he can't do with his wrist even today!  I didn't even know he couldn't roll is wrist and make a fist with his left arm.  Wow....the things we find out about him in these all important interviews!  He is a survivor, in more ways than one!!  Big respect for him!

Casey James at CMA's w/Dollar Bill & Heather

From radio station WDXB in Birmingham, 102.5 the Bull!!  I loved this interview and all the 'Fast Facts'!! That's the guy who had the wig on, his Casey hair, he said, and they got a picture of the fun Casey had with it!!  Celebrity crush???  Who is she??  "You'll know it...." he cut off right there....so who knows??  He has already done ALL his Christmas shopping!?!  The Macarena??  I answered that before Casey did....."He never KNEW the Macarena!"  Haha!!  About the tights...."are you not already doing that?!!!"  He is getting funnier every time we see him on these interviews!!  Loved that they mentioned 'Let's Dont Call It A Night' has broke into the  Top 40!!!  Love these guys!!!  What great support!!

Tour of CMA Week-2011

Thanks to Dollar Bill from radio station WDXB 'The Bull' 102.5 out of Birmingham, we get a first hand view of exactly how it's all done at these many interviews!!  I just loved it!!!  Who knew???

Casey James interview with 106.5 WYRK in Buffalo, NY

Uhh...Ohh....He STILL rides motorcycles.....only on the street, no jumping or motocross stuff for Casey!!  I thought it was cute that he said....."Don't tell my momma......"  Haha!!  Don't worry Casey......we won't.....haha!!  She probably already knows by this hour!!

Casey James interview, 97.3 The Eagle-CMA week 2011

I love that Casey told everybody that Sony is promoting him as 'An Artist'....I had figured that out when they didn't jump right on the album and start cutting it before the tour was even over, like Lee and Crystal did.  Sometime in life....less IS more.  By waiting he has shook off the 'Idol' stamp!  No disrespect meant toward Idol, I'm like Casey, if it weren't for AI, many of us would have ever known who Casey was....so I am thankful to them for that.  And now he is emerging in the Country Music world as 'an Artist', rather than a contestant!  :)

Crook & Chase Interview CMA week 2011

Well, after that discussion, I believe my hubby is gonna LOVE Casey James....rather than just like him!!  A man after his own heart......good lord....he LOVES old cars and trucks!!!  I knew he did, but had never heard any year models from him!!  When he mentioned the 74 Cuda, it made me remember back......I had a '70 Cuda once....baby blue.....with white racing stripes right down the center of the hood......loved that little hot rod!!  My hunny is all over a bunch of old 40's 50's & 60's cars and trucks!!  "If it's mechanical, I can fix it"....LoL!!  That's the way the hubby is....too many computer chips in the newer ones, but set a '67 Camero in front of him, and he's in heaven while fixing it!!

Thanks to the Casey James Blog for all their videos!  Below is another Blair interview, and you can see him this time.  :)

Casey James interview w/Blair Garner at CMA week

And one more.....and I'm publishing after this one!  There's lots more to come....so come on back, later tonight or in the morning!  Thanks again to The Casey James Blog for locating some of these videos!!  It's always good to hear Casey mention the blog in his interviews!  :)

WFUS radio interview during CMA week

Awwww now that was sweet!!! Just loved that part about the girl being a big fan of Casey's....

Gotta figure out what's for supper, since I just burned a big pan of cornbread.......what a waste....is probably what Casey would be saying right now..... LoL!!!

More Coming tomorrow!

Hey yall.....sorry I haven't posted in a few days, I've been experiencing some difficulties trying to do so for the last couple of days.....so I'm very far behind on write-ups, interviews, new shows and pictures.  I do have some of it, not all of it,  posted on Caseymania on Facebook.  Casey is in Nashville doing lots of interviews for CMA week!  So, I think I may have things working here now, but it's too late tonight to try to start on anything, but tomorrow I will posting a lot of stuff, so check back a few times tomorrow so you don't miss anything!!!
The great news is Casey's single moved up 2 spots this week to #37!!  Keep up the good work everybody, the requesting how ever you are doing it, is definitely working!!

Remember CMT Top 20 Countdown vote and CMT Pure 12 Pack votes!!!
I'll be back in a few hours with lots more great stuff!!!

And remember we have 4 days left on the Poll at the top left of the page, to find the title of Casey's new 'Untitled' song!!  He has performed it many times, and each time he says he don't know the name of it yet, so let's give him some ideas!!  Get your votes in, before Saturday!! If you need to hear the song, click on Casey's Music Tab at the top of the page, and it will be the last song video on the page.  :)

Now....on to the other shows....For our East coast fans there's 2 and here's one on  December 3rd in Raleigh, NC at the Longbranch, located at 608 Creekside Dr.  This is sponsored by radio station WQDR  94.7 and it's their QDR Christmas Wish Concert!  A donation of $10 or more gets you in the door!

And the last new show is in Virginia Beach, Virginia on December 14th at the Knuckleheads Roadhouse.  Radio station US 106.1 is sponsoring this event, and Casey is part of their Rising Star Concert Series!

There ya go!! Lots of shows coming up in various places!  I hope a lot of Casey Fans get to go out for a good cause and support Casey at the same time.....that's definitely a WIN-WIN situation!!  :)

Here is something fun!!  This is a really important Music Survey from Country station  99.9 Coyote Country in Spokane, Wa.  It's pretty quick and you can do it with different emails and when you are done with the survey, make sure you rate Casey's song!!  And....as you're going thru the survey, make sure that Casey gets your highest score!

Until Next Time.....

New Shows....contest ends...voting...charts....and much more!!

Hey everybody!!!  I know, it's been a few days since I've posted anything, but I have been a busy little bee lately!!   It's good to have the **CASEYMANIA** on Facebook page, it keeps things rolling along, when I don't post here for a few days!!  If you're reading this and you haven't yet "LIKED" the page, click the link above and just click LIKE at the top of the page when you get there!!  We try to keep up with all that's going on in Casey's world!!
And speaking of that....Casey's single, "Let's Don't Call It A Night" is doing pretty good on the Mediabase charts!  I took it upon myself to get a screen cap since I finally learned how to do it with my smart phone....that's smarter than me, most time!  :D And this picture is quite impressive, and so nice to see it with your own eyes, where he sits among all those superstars!!  Doesn't that look sweet setting nicely on #39 with a bullet!!  That means it's climbing the charts....and always good!!!   He did get passed by a bigger star which put him back to #39 from #38, and Keith Urban is right behind him, and will probably be passing him as well, but thats normal, since Casey is a new artist.  This is a rolling chart, so it may be different tomorrow....we shall see!!  By the way....ya see my little AT&T on the screen and that one little bar....thats because I live in the sticks and sometimes I can't even get that!  But at least I'm 100% charged up, just in case!!  lol....

Well, it's official....Christian Kane won the Boy's of Fall Contest  put on by WSOC 103.7 radio station!  Casey's fans were out in force though, with an impressive 18, 471 votes for him!!!  I always knew Casey had a strong fan base....but this just blew me away!!!  I am so proud of every person who put their time and effort into this for Casey!!  Maybe he didn't win, but now more people know that Casey has a very strong and dedicated bunch of Fans....who stand by their man!!!  :)  And face it.....he can't win everything.....that would get boring.....but a close race like this, is always so much fun.....win or lose!!!  :)

We have to keep Casey alive in the CMT Pure 12 Pack!!  He was in 3rd place with the last voting tally, and we have until midnight tonight to vote for him.  I also have this link on the sidebar all the time here at Caseymania!  So let's get him to #1 again like the first week!!

And of course, while we're on the subject of CMT lets remember to keep voting for Casey's video, on  CMT Top 20 Countdown because this week we should see it on the countdown!!  If not, lets not get frustrated....let's just keep on keeping on!!   Did I just say that???!!!  Thats just so old fogey!!  :D Anyway....it's a bit confusing how it all works, but voting for this Friday's show ended last Sunday night at midnight.  Now....we are voting for NEXT weeks show!!  I know.....it's making me crazy!!  But I think I got it now!!  Thing is....keep voting and watch Friday morning on CMT at 10am CT, but check your schedule and see what time it comes on in your area.  Fingers crossed!!

I am going to do something a little different....I'm going to go ahead and post this....but I have more coming!  I have to get supper ready and.....we got a cold front moving in right now!!  It feels so good outside!!  Yall come back after while and I will be adding another post with more news!!!

That new post is actually ABOVE this one....sorry.....

Come on back now!!!   :)
