OMG!!!  This is the BEST Video of "I Got Mine" from this whole summer of videos!!!!  ConcertCameraCat has my vote for Best Videographer.....hands down!!!!!!  This video is so awesome!!!  Thank you for this video!  And.....at about 3:38 watch for the head banging and hair slinging!  Then at about 4:14 watch what happens......I nearly cried....I felt so sorry for him, but he pulled it off like nothing at all happened.

I wanted to also put ConcertCameraCat's other video of Casey in Indianapolis, so I just pasted this one!  But it is awesome too......some great video work.....thank you CCC!!!

I'm Back..... here's some stuff yall might remember.....

Hey Everybody!  I'm back today, but I'm afraid the posts are going to be short sometimes, with nothing to write about, and no fresh news out there.   But I will do the best I can for yall, even if it means reposting some things!  
I'm not completely feeling up to par today, a little tired feeling, and tomorrow is a busy day so I won't be posting tomorrow probably.  If I'm gone a day or two, don't yall worry, it's just because there's nothing new to report at the moment, or I got busy.  My house is about to have a complete overhaul....I have things everywhere they are not suppose to be, and alot of it is my Mom's stuff, I've been procrastinating about putting away.   So I've got to get to it soon!  
I just don't want yall to think I'm MIA if I take a day or two off here and there!  Yall just stay with me, and we're going to learn alot of new things together real soon!  

I want to let yall know I found 3 videos from St. Louis, Mo. and all from the same person.....the night Casey was taken to the hospital because of his illness!  They are really good too......so much so that one person said, If this is what he sounds like sick, then he must be totally amazing when he's not!! enjoy!!

Remember this week?  Yep, his version of Gavin DeGraw's "I don't wanna be" and the first time we all realized Casey James was a Guitar genius!  I know, I said this just the other day, but this was the moment that made me realize he meant everything he was singing and playing!

When he did this song that week on the show, he was telling us and the judges that he wasn't gonna be anything but who HE was!!  He wasn't going to be molded into what people wanted him to be, he was going to be Himself, no matter what!!  If it cost him the competition, then so be it!!  Casey knew exactly who he was, as an artist and he wasn't changing anything!!  And when some of the judges slammed him and shredded him for this performance, I knew exactly where he was coming from!  We all saw the hurt in his little face as they showed no mercy and beat him to a pulp!!  I, as well as thousands of other new fans loved his version of the song, and we couldn't understand where the negativity was coming from with these judges.......we LOVED it!!!!  We saw nothing wrong with it, whatsoever!!  And still don't!!  
  
I've been going on about how Casey knew who he was as an artist way before American Idol.  I came across this excerpt from one of my favorite writers, Shari Geller, (thanks girl) and what she has to say about Casey and the Blues.....
 
Casey James wrote in his high school yearbook that he wanted to be a famous blues musician. He specified the genre back then that he connected with. When Casey was playing at the Keys Lounge, he was a blues musician. When he takes the stage during the American Idol tour, he's a blues musician. Wherever he goes from here, he's a blues musician. Because it's about heart and feeling it and not worrying about technique or formulas. It means being so connected to the music that nothing else matters, you get lost in the notes and how they make you feel. It is the most organic, most natural form of music, the most stripped bare and raw. Whatever he does musically from here on out, it will be inspired and informed by the blues and in particular by the blues guitar of the late Stevie Ray Vaughan.

And this is one of Casey getting his 'make up' on for the TV show, on "Power of Love" week!    I'm sure he looked just fine without it, but those TV people make 'em dab out the shiny spots.....for the camera....lol...

I hope alot of you have not seen this, cause it is so cute!!  He was about to get his lovely locks cut!  I'm so glad they didn't cut his hair alot on the show.....it becomes him so much!

I never noticed his feet....lol....his feet are perfectly together and he's sitting straight as a board.....I love this picture, especially his eyes and that look on his face, he's got that 'what did I get myself into'  look on his face!!  :D  this made me laugh out loud!!

Casey's Journey on Idol......... nice pictures and more.....

Hey everybody!  Hope everyone is doing great today!  I know alot of us are probably suffering from withdrawals and not sure  what to do with ourselves....that's completely natural.  We don't have that daily, new Casey info we all look forward to every day!  But that's ok, it's natural to be feeling that way!  So....we're going to look back on Casey's journey on Idol and just see where it takes us!  I am so proud, as I'm sure thousands of you are as well, that I was there from the very beginning!   I saw that now famous shirtless audition in Denver and he was my pick to win it from that moment on.  I never questioned my decision, it felt right, is all I can make of it!  I saw in his eyes that day, the pure longing to be heard, the 'want to' in his eyes!  He wanted this more than anything in his life, and I, along with the rest of you, saw that, and was determined to give 100% of my time and effort to help him obtain it!!  As my friend, Mickey proudly displays on her facebook page, 'Casey James Cougar Club', "His looks may have gotten him noticed, but his talent kept us tuned in and voting!"   That just about sums it up for me!  Thats exactly how many of us feel to this day!  We saw something that some others did not see.....yet!  And he gained many many fans through the process of the show, as he came back week after week, desperately ill most of the time, and never let us down!  We all came to love his beautiful personality, his deep soul,his great mind, his awesome guitar skills and last but definitely not least.....his soulful, gritty, raw and sometimes tender vocals!!  No one sounds like him, he is unique on so many levels, although some people have likened him to Eddie Vedder, of Pearl Jam, and there is some similarity there, especially with the 'quiver in their purrs'.......as someone said the other day!!  :) Casey is his own man, and I have faith that he will go very far in his new career, and I'm  proud to say, I will be there, every step of his journey, proudly supporting him with his rise to fame!!  Oh, he is famous now.....but people.......as we say in Texas.....'you ain't seen nothing yet'!! :)

Here's what Elliot had to say about our boy Casey at the Cincinnati show!  I grabbed just his review of Casey from MJs blog.

Casey James came on and though we both liked him, we weren’t flailing like we were with some of the other contestants. However, this dude can really shred a guitar and I have to admit that he’s the only one who could pull off switching guitars mid-song without it seeming douchey. I definitely see now why he got signed. His duet with Mike was more enjoyable than it was on the show, and they both sounded well on it. I give the edge to Casey, though.

This review was from a Lee fan, so considering that, I guess his take on Casey's set was pretty good!

The AI 9 Tour comes to an end....what now???

Well......hi yall.....I'm kinda lost for words right now!  I started this post not knowing what I was gonna post, but I'll figure it out along the way!  I've been gone most of the day still getting things squared away at my mom's place.....it's like it never ends!  And I'm on my own now.....just 2 book shelves and an entertainment center to get and a couple sacks of trash to the dumpster and I'm done.......  Gosh.....I'm tired....not used to all this work.....I like sitting and writing!!  :)  Well, we can't always have it our way!

Before I forget to post it, yall just have to see this!!!  I laughed so hard, I thought I was gonna bust a gut.......seriously!!!  It is so funny!!!!  The girls from the tour decided to have their own version of the boy's LNS series........so they came up with this hilarious 'chins' version!!!  I never realized they were so funny, but they must be, they had me really rolling!!!

Thank you so much Jenn Johnston for these great pictures, I can't stop looking at them, they are so beautiful!!!!!!  And......what makes these pictures even more special, is that they were taken during his terrible illness when he was taken to the hospital in St. Louis!!  So, this is proof, even when he's sick the camera still loves him..... :)

ARE YALL STILL WITH ME??!!  I DIDN'T LOSE ANYBODY DID I??  Ok, lets all put our eyes back in our head......sorry, Casey if you are reading this......no disrespect intended......these are beautiful shots!!!!   Are these the bomb or what!!!!!!!!!  OMGosh!!!!  I can't get over how wonderful they are, and I want to thank you again, Jenn Johnston for all these beautiful Casey shots!!!!  Ok.....I'm shutting up now.....I'm zippin' it, I promise......

Well, Casey is home now......and for some reason he hasn't called me......well........he hasn't........ and probably won't......LOL!!!  I couldn't get that lucky in a lifetime!!  Just teasing.....but anyway, I'm just so happy he is home resting and relaxing and I hope people are leaving him alone.  Then after a couple days, he needs to contact us......by twitter of course.  So I hope he's catching up on his rest and just kicking back......he'll probably call in a day or two......lol!!!!  
I'm gonna take off for a bit and see if I can find any more good stuff, preferably from Indianapolis!
