New Shows, CRS Week in Nashville and more....

CRS is going on in Nashville this week, and Casey is and has been here and there doing shows and interviews all around Music City.  Country Radio Seminar is an annual convention designed to educate and promote the exchange of ideas and business practices in the Country music industry, with specific emphasis on issues relevant to country radio.  CRS 2012 will be held February 22-24 in downtown Nashville, at the Convention Center.  If you would like to know more about this annual event, you can visit Country Radio Seminar for more information.
Today Casey and the band....yes, the band..... are aboard the Sony Boat and they are doing a show there tonight.  The new band members are Dino Villanueva, Justin Pate, and of course Blaine Crews.  Blaine sent us a little idea of what they are seeing and doing via twitter.....

and of course.....Casey James

Thanks to radio 97.3 the Eagle tweeted the above very nice photo from tonights show on the Boat.

So far, we have not gotten any videos of Casey and the band tonight, but it was tweeted that he sang 2 songs, "Let's Don't Call It A Night", and one we haven't heard yet was debuted for the radio crowd tonight....."Crying on a Suitcase".  :)))

I will be looking for those two videos to come through, because I know everybody wants to hear the "Crying on a Suitcase" song!! :)

There are 5 new shows coming up, in St. Louis on 3/7/ Macon, Georgia on 3/9/ Nashville at the Grand Ole Opryhouse on 3/16/ Winston-Salem NC on 4/20/12 and in Angelica, NYon 7/20/12.  I have updated the left sidebar under "Upcoming Shows" and you can get information for each show by clicking the link.  :)

Ok, I'll be back later with more from CRS week and hopefully first videos of the band and more pictures!!

Until then.....

  1. Glenda! Thanks so much...these are some great great pictures! What I love about this blog is that you have SO MUCH FUN with it! It is quite informative but also you write from a true fans perspective. You write directly from you heart and you say all the things that so many of Casey's fans are feeling!!! Being at this site feels like "family" and I love it! THANKS SO MUCH GLENDA!! Keep it up!!!! xoxoxoxox

  2. Thank you sweet Darla....your just so special to me. I'm gonna have to slow down a little, I'm just not feeling it, like I was. It's so hard to try and keep up with everything, it just overwhelms me. So I'm just gonna start posting the most important and the new shows, so people know where he is. I also want to continue with the show reviews. But I can't keep up with every single everything that happens with him's too hard. I want it to remain fun, like you said, and to do that, I've got to back off. I love you so much Darla, thank you for your support. xoxo
