Happy Thanksgiving!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful time this Thanksgiving!  It is a time to reflect.....and to be grateful and thankful for what you have.  I know I don't do that near enough, and I will be making up for lost time on Thursday!
We are headed to East Texas to my sister's home to just relax, visit, drink a few spirits....and Cook!!   I am not the best cook, but where  I'm lacking.....my sister makes up for!!  She is a fantastic cook!  So really looking forward to being in the kitchen with her, helping out, and hanging out and catching up.....oh and drinking wine while we cook!  That's her thing....really.  I'm not into that dark wine that stays room temperature......ugh.....nope, I'll stick to my white zinfindale (I know, I spelled it wrong...) or champagne!   Oh, but I make a really good Lime Salad!!  Of course....there is no cooking involved!!  :)

I hope Casey is already home and relaxing since he hasn't done that in months!  And I hope everyone can relax, give all the voting and requesting a break for a day, and just relax, and enjoy your family.....and life.  I think Casey would not want us stressing out over all the support thing on a holiday.  So let's just enjoy it, and be thankful for all we have, including Casey's music.

Everyone who is traveling, please do so with care, and get back home safe and sound!  Happy Thanksgiving!!  :)

I'll be back Friday afternoon.....

Until then.....

  1. I'll be having my own 1-2 glasses of wine over here on Thursday, generally just to celebrate life :)

  2. Thanks, Glenda. Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving! I am looking forward to a quiet day with just Terry and myself. He'll be doing the cooking, of course. :) And thank you for the advice of everyone taking Thursday off from requesting and voting. Yes, it is a family day. Love you!
