Merry Christmas everybody!

Hey y'all!! I just wanted to pop in and wish everybody a very Merry Christmas!! I hope all your wishes and hopes were met!! I got so many cool things, so it was great for me!! Lots of family and friend time!! I also know that Casey was home for the holidays!! So far there's only been one picture posted that I know of and I'll get that to y'all either later tonight or tomorrow! The Christmas Card Exchange was a big hilight for me this season and I hope we can do it again next year!! Y'all take care, I'll be back later!!

Casey James Band is Official!!

Hey Everybody!!  Great News has broke!!!!  Casey James is now OFFICIAL everywhere!!!  His official Website is up, his official Facebook is up, his official Myspace is up, his official You Tube is going, his twitter has been declaired official, and his ILike is up.  I know about every one of these except, iLike...Don't know a thing in the world about this social network.  But maybe I'll learn, because I want to be a part of everything he is!!  

I would have been on sooner this afternoon talking about this, but my niece and nephew were in an accident, (they are ok thank God)   He was hit in his driver door, T-boned, but walked away without as much as a headache.....the newer generic car, was totally mashed in the front and the passengers went to the hospital to be checked out.  It was obvious his old truck took good care of my family!!  I stand by those old vehicles.....they were made with steel and welds, not fiberglass and rivets!  The only reason his truck is totaled is because it slammed the frame and moved it, so it would cost a fortune to fix it, if it could even be fixed, (most of the time not) but not a huge dent in the door, just a small one compared to the car, and thats why they were safe!  Thank God for old trucks!!  Casey likes old trucks too, and I believe they are much safer than todays vehicles!  They just don't make 'em like they used to! :)


Ok, now on to the most fantastic news we've heard in quite some time!!!   How many of you are excited for Casey!?!?  I know I am, and this means that the ball is rolling and we better get ready cause the Casey news is about to start flowing!!

I just love him to pieces!!!  What a sweet guy!!!  I absolutely LOVED the laugh at the beginning!!!  And he looks sooooo Happy and WELL!!!!

Ok, there you have it......ALL of Casey's official sites, all in one little spot!!  Lets all sign up and friend and be a productive part all this Casey stuff!!  His twitter is actually the original twitter, looks like it hasn't been changed at all.  So most of us are already a part of that!!

Here is a WoW picture of our boy back during the Idol Tour last summer!!  I will be so glad when his official site posts some new photos of him from the brand new photo shoot I know he's already done!!  And when I see a schedule......I will be elated!!!  Can't wait to post that schedule here and keep everybody up on what show is next and see videos and pics from fans of the shows just finished!!!  It's gonna be like in the summer all over again, that is.....if the fans do videos and pictures and post them everywhere, like before.....  I'm not even gonna worry about it, because Casey DOES have some very dedicated fans and yall WILL make sure videos and pics are posted.....everywhere!!!  Right???  Yall don't let me down now!!!

I'm not sure that *WOW* is a good enough description for this shot........I can almost See him "Feeling" his music....if that makes sense to yall.  He's there........he's feeling everything he's doing and when I watch him......I go there with him!!!  I know I'm not the only one either, because Casey has a way of bringing us right into the music with him!!  He's fantabulous!!! :D  I will support him till my dying day, the guy deserves the best, because he gives HIS best, to us!!! :)

Before I go, I wanted to give a VERY GREAT BIG THANK YOU to every one of you, who have sent me the coolest Christmas Cards ever!!!  And your welcome to each of you who have been having a blast with this too and thanking me!!  I love this!!!  I've heard people talking about it, so I am going to do something too.....when I have all my cards, I'll take a picture of the door I have them hung on and post it here for all of you to see!!  
I'm also going to be making some appearance changes on here as I'm adding new links to the now 1 side bar, so yall bear with me and we get dressed for the future!! :)

First Casey Christmas Card Exchange is a hit.....and a few seasonal videos!

Well.....hello everybody!!!  Are we getting lots and lots of awesome Christmas Cards from all over the U.S. and abroad??  I've been getting tons of them, not any international ones yet, but I'm sure they're coming!  People are telling me every day "thank you" for putting this together!!  And I thank all of YOU for joining in to make this happen!!  I know, being the first time there were some flaws.....but hey, at least those same mistakes won't happen next year, I hope!!  I'm going to create a new email address next year that will be recognizable to everyone and easy for me to send out group emails.  I'm having a hard time doing that with Gmail for some reason!   But I'm going with aol next year, and it should be much easier, for everybody!!

I want to Thank everybody who is sending out the cards, it's so awesome to go to the mailbox and see all these unique cards from all these great people!!  I will take the time to Thank everyone I can on Facebook, personally by a message, and for those not on FB, well, Thank You right now!!!   I love this!!
 
My blues are long gone and I'm having fun getting and sending out the cards!!  Thank you to all of you, who took the time to talk me through some rough days, I don't know what I'd do without you!!  At the end of the day I'm a real human with real emotions and have only talked openly about my feelings here once before.    I thank all of you for urging me on and staying connected to Caseymania even in the slowest time we'll ever see here!  I promise you it will not be this slow again, once that single hits the radio stations!  And I am so looking forward to a busy blog that knows no end to the Casey news!!

 Well, my creative side has reared it's head again, and having a subject cool as Casey to work with, the options are endless as what to come up with!  So I played around with a popular picture that probably everybody has seen and came up with this little doozy!!

Ok....back to reality!  I think it's high time for some Christmas Music, and since Casey don't have any Christmas Music out yet, I'm gonna give yall some from my other Idol boy, Bucky Covington!  I particularly love his version of this Christmas Classic, and the spin he puts on it.....literally......you'll see what I mean when you watch the video!!  This is my personal video from a show just before Christmas I was at in Greenville, Mississippi last year.  Yall enjoy!!

It's nearing Christmas.....is everybody ready?

Hello everybody!  Well, I'm  back, but I'm still not up to par just yet.  I actually feel a little better, but I'm still stopped up....not all the time, just several times a day....and at night!  Just wanted to touch base and see if everything is going good with everybody.  I am starting to get so many Christmas cards, and it's awesome!!  I had a problem with my order so it's gonna be a little late getting out.  As soon as I have them in my hand I will be getting them ready to mail out!  The cards I'm getting from everybody are so nice and unique!!  I'm loving every bit of this!!

Well, there was only one picture that surfaced that I could find during Casey's visit home for Thanksgiving.  This one was taken the last night he was in town down at the Key's Lounge, where he had sang a few songs and talked with a bunch of folks and signed autographs.  I just wish I could have made it down there.  He was there till about 3am and when he was leaving he was headed to the airport to catch his flight back to Nashville.  But this one picture did make it to me, and it was Casey playing pool!  So I guess he was relaxing and having a nice visit with old friends and new at his old gigging place.  I'm glad he was able to do that.  Life is getting hectic, I'm sure, for him.  Ok, here's the picture......

As most of you know by now, it has been confirmed that Billy James is headed to Nashville to be with his brother and play Bass in the Casey James Band!!  I'm so thrilled about this news!  But, as of right now there has been no news on whether Jacy has gotten a spot in the CJB or not!  We are all still hoping and praying he gets to go as well!!  I got the pleasure of meeting Jacy once and he is just the nicest guy ever!  Very personable and chatty!  I like that in a person.... :)  Keeping my fingers crossed for him!!

Well, is it nearly Christmas already?  And has it nearly been a year since we all laid eyes on Casey James as American Idol televised his audition in Denver?  Yes and Yes!!  This has been the fastest passing year I think I ever remember!!  Oh well, you know what they say......time flies when your having fun.....and that comment has never been more true than the passing of 2010!  It really has been one of the most fun years I've ever had, except for the fact that I lost my mom.  Like I told all of you then.....it was really a blessing.....because the amount of pain and suffering she was enduring.  I was relieved when she didn't have to hurt anymore, and I am at peace with her passing.  Miss her every day, and I'm sure I always will, but life has to move forward after a loss of this caliber.....no standing still, that's when you fall down.....no time for it.  I've been having a little bit of the Blues lately, but I have very faithful friends who always know exactly what to say to get me back peddling again.  Now I'm getting back in the Christmas Spirit and moving forward!  Thank you my little angels.....you know who you are!!

I hope everyone will send out a Christmas Card to the James Family and wish them a Happy Holiday Season!  I certainly am!  And one more thing to address, while I'm at it.....Someone put a suggestion on my Wall on Facebook, and I think it is a fantastic Idea.  Read about it:

While I was looking around on the Key's Lounge site earlier, I came across some Casey Pictures I had not seen!!  (Imagine that!)  They were taken during the Homecoming Visit!!  So, I'll post 'em here for yall to see!!  Enjoy!!

 

Woo Hoooo!!!  That last one just blows my socks off!!!  He was really giving it his all that day, I remember it so well, and I am so fortunate to have been there to see this in person!!!  It was a great day in 'Cowtown'!!
