I'm Home.....with sore muscles, and a few more dollars in my pocket!

Hey.....how's everyone doing?  I got lots of exercise that's for sure!!  But if you'll pardon the expression.....my ass is draggin'!!  It's alot of work getting everything set up on the tables and priced and making sure people don't steal your stuff and making the right change and writing down who sold what.....omg.....but.....it was fun!!  This was my first and I was so sore all over my body the first 3 days, then it started fading away.....guess I need to really think about getting in the gym and getting me some much needed exercise!  If I could just make myself walk 2 miles a day, like I used to, up to the stop sign and back....that would be a huge step in getting the old body moving again!   I was down too long this summer with that vertigo and just haven't bounced back yet.  But I actually feel better when I exercise, just gotta get motivated again to do it! 

My sister, Janet, is a trip!  She's so much fun to hang out with!  But her hunny, on the other hand is.....well......he's a good guy at best, but a bit peculiar, at worst.  He is so brilliant, (he's a Chemist, btw) that sometimes he seems to lack in common sense skills.  But don't get me wrong, he's a good guy, he's just above me in the brains department.  I just don't get in his way, and we get along fine.  But Janet.....she will hunt him down for an argument!  She is so funny sometimes when she gets on something, and she won't let it go, until she's satisfied with the ending....or gets her way!  ha ha ha!!  She's gonna kill me, but I'm going to post the video I got of her goofing off while we were at the Sale on Saturday!

By the way, Casey has 3 more fans.....her, her daughter, Chasity and Willie, Chas's boyfriend!  I mentioned something about Casey, and they both said....."That was his name on your shirt you had on yesterday"!!  Yes!!!  We loved him on the show!  So I turned 'em on to some of his 'Key's Lounge Blues' and they were amazed!  I wore the shirt to see if anybody would either ask about him or tell me they knew who he was.  One lady said she loved him on the show and wondered what happened to him.  So I turned her on to Caseymania and told her to keep up with it, and I'll keep her up with Casey!  She was thrilled!!  So, I been spreading the Casey Love......it's so easy, and soooooo much fun!!!

And now......back to Casey James!!  I came across this short little paragraph on the Music Row website about Casey signing with BNA.  Although we already know that.....it's a NEW picture we haven't seen!!!  I know we are all just searching for any new pics of him, so here it is, for those who haven't seen it!  That is one big happy grin on that handsome face!

Here I sit in Terrell Texas.......

Hey yall....what's up?  Me??   I'm in Terrell Texas at a Starbucks with sister Janet!  She's a nun ya know....!!  Not really!!!  We been working our tails off selling all this stuff, and we're doing pretty good too!  But we are beat at the end of the day...that's for sure!!!  This is going to have to be a small update because.........Janet locked her keys in the shop where we stored everything for tonight and she don't have a key to it, and her van keys were in the shop and her van was locked with her purse in it and a window part of the way down, so I stuck my long arm in the window being the smart people we are and quickly unlocked the door only to be startled to death with the alarm going off!!!  No keys to stop it....omg!!!   So.....she's riding back with me and hanging out here.....only because she has to though....lol!!  Anyway, we've been having a good time and selling lots of things and staying busy!  I don't think I've worked this hard in 10 years or so!! 

Well, I just read on facebook that Cindy Hodges mailed off the quilt she was putting together with love from all of us!!  If you are on facebook here is the link to all the pictures of it!  It is amazing!!!  thank you so much Cindy for taking so much time to do this for all of us....you are awesome!!

Hey....somebody posted the cutest most adorable little baby Casey I've EVER seen!!!  Now, for those of you who have not seen it or are not on Facebook, here ya go!!  Is this the most adorable baby you've ever seen??

And when he grew up he turned into this.......

Lord have mercy on Janet.....lol....she's drooling  right now!!!  Not really, but she did help me pick this awesome photo out!!  And this is who we all came to love on the reality show.....American ....something??   LOL!!!

Anyway, gotta run gals and guys!  Talk more later, we are tired and dirty and in bad need of a shower and a movie!!   Janet says "Hey yall"!!!

Some cool write-ups and other interesting things....

Today has been a very busy day and I'm not done yet!  I just got my internet back yesterday and tomorrow I have to head to East Texas to my sisters for the next 5 days!  There's a huge highway sale going on and we have a lot of stuff to sell, so we have to get everything hauled up there and separated out at our spot.  We have to price everything, put the tarp up so we have a shield from the sun, even though it's not hot, I'm still allergic to the sun and can only be in it unprotected for a little bit at a time. So I have to stay in the shade for most of the day.  But this is a sale where people set up their goods on the side of the road (Highway 80) and it starts somewhere in Mississippi my sister said!  This ought to be interesting!  I just hope I can stay away from other peoples things and not end up bringing back more than I'm taking! LOL!!  That's....what I do!! 
So, I talked to my sister (Janet) today and asked her if they had a Starbucks there in Terrill because I couldn't remember......and she said "Yes....you've bought coffee there before"!!  Well.....I forgot....ok?? lol!!  Anyway.....the whole idea of asking about it was so I have a place I can get on the internet for a couple hours, drink me some coffee and update Caseymania!!  So....it looks like it's Starbucks for me.  Hope they don't run me off for taking up residence there for awhile!  Surely not, I'll be drinking their coffee, which is expensive, by the way!  So I'll update yall about how the sale is going and if there's anybody in Texas who wants to come see me, and see what all we have, just come on!!  Some of you Dallas girls I know could come on down to Terrill, it's not very far from there!  Anyway....I'm not sure if I'll get to update daily or not, but just check in from time to time to see if I've updated yet!

Yesterday I came across the Article in the Mineral Wells Index, about Debra James and her two Books made by Fans and her relationships with the twitter fans!  There were several of us mentioned either by Debra or another fan.  It was a fan who actually turned the story in so a few of us got a mention in the newspaper article!  I was so thrilled to see this, and hopefully alot of you have seen it, but for those of you who haven't I will post the link to it below!  It's a really cool read, and I totally enjoyed it!!  Thank you to all the awesome people who contributed for this awesome story!!

I wanted to talk to yall for a minute about something near and dear to my heart!  I want to start putting together a Christmas Card Exchange List for all who want to be included!  It is great fun to be involved with it, especially when you go to your mailbox anxious to see just where in the world your Christmas Cards are from each day!!  The way it will work is for all who want to be involved, please send me an email to  CEJblues10@gmail.com  stating simply "Please include me in the Christmas Card Exchange" along with your mailing address you want your cards to come to and I will add your name to the list.  I'm thinking we should set the cut-off date at December 1st so I have enough time to get the list fully completed and emailed back to each of you.  You can then print off the list and just mark them off the list as you finish each card.  This is loads of fun and I hope we get alot of fans to participate in this!  I make my own cards at Snapfish.com  and they are so personable and totally what you want to say to everyone.  You add your own pictures to it, and with so many getting their picture with Casey, I would imagine some will be heading to Snapfish to make their own cards as well!!  And on the inside, I always send a copy of my very favorite picture from the whole year of shows I've been to, or just my favorite from anywhere!   Yall don't have to do all the stuff I'm talking about, just a Christmas Card is all that's expected, but I've never been accused of being dull or un-interesting.....lol.....I have to stick my creative hoop-la into everything I do! :D   So whoever is interested please send me an email and I will get the list started!

I'm going to head on out of here and get a few more things done, I have to become an early riser this week, no late nights for me.....geeezzzz.....I'm sure gonna miss my late nights.....but it'll be over soon! :)

I'm Back...and... A New Casey James Interview, plus more!

OOhhhhh myyyyy Goodness!!  It is sooooo good to be back online!!  My service was out a whopping 13 days!!  I was experiencing some serious withdrawals!!  I missed everybody so much....yall just don't even know!!  But I'm back and ready to post all the latest news and whatever tidbits I can come across about Casey or anything remotely related to Casey!! :)  Although I won't be able to post daily right now, never fear.....it's coming!!  Just wait until we start getting the lowdown on Casey from Nashville!!   Then I won't have enough time to write about all the reviews and articles and such!!  But I certainly will give it my best shot!!  If any of you who read Caseymania  come across anything that looks or sounds post worthy, just drop me an email with the information or links to redbird49tex@gmail.com  I would appreciate any and all help!  That is going to come in handy especially later on when his Tour Schedule is released and new shows are added to it!  Sometimes a person may find a new show that actually won't be on the schedule yet or not posted everywhere yet, but a new one nevertheless!  So anything you see or hear about, that I don't already know, just send me an email about it and I'll really appreciate it!!

As soon as I got online today, it was a pleasure to find a fantastic NEW interview from my friend and fellow blogger, Shari Geller!  She certainly knows how to keep a reader captivated!!  I just couldn't hardly wait to see what was on the next page!!  Thanks so much Shari....love your work!!  If you haven't had the pleasure of reading her Interview with Casey James, part 1.....then by all means.....get to it.....it's awesome!!

Most of you have heard me talk alot about how important air play on the radio is, to a new single and artist, and I stand by that, and there's some really cool radio personalities out there!!  And one of my very favorites, is  Cody Alan~CMT Cody
He is the ACM (American Country Music) 2010 National on air Personality of the year!!  Here's a little bit about him:

I have had the pleasure of speaking with Cody several times on his show!  They just don't get any more 'real' than this guy....and how ironic that he used to be one of the DJ's at one of the Dallas Country Stations!  I reminded him of that when I spoke to him the first time, with his new job and he had nothing but praise for the Major league Station that provided the first step into his awesome career at the tender age of 23!  I remember calling him and requesting songs from him, and always loved his personality! :)  He really deserves that honor, because he IS an awesome on air personality!!  Cody loves doing interviews with his guests (Casey soon!!) on the show, and I'm here to tell you it probably won't be very long at all until we hear that our Casey will be a guest on his show!!  You can 'stream' Cody from just about anywhere, because he is syndicated and goes out to many many radio stations across the country 5 nights a week from 7 till 12 CT.  I stream (listen online) because it's easier to me and I don't have a great stereo.  Check your local Country Station and see if they carry Cody's Show in their 7 till 12 slot and if they don't, just click the link above, then click 'where to listen', then scroll down and find your state and closest large city and click on it and look for 'listen online', or 'listen live' and click on it and before you know it, you're online listening to his show!  If you are out of the states....you should be able to just click on any city you want from the list and access their 'listen online' link.  I will be posting Cody's link and phone number to call him on the sidebar very soon!  Let's all get to know Cody, cause you'll be surprised how personable he is with you when you call him!!  Then we can ask him about our Casey boy!!  Yea!! :)

Looks like my Internet will be back on Monday!

My Internet is still down and I'm LIVID!!! I'm so pissed at those people, but I don't think I have another choice in broadband!! Now they are making me pay the tech and parts if any are needed (again)!! I've bought enough parts for that dish it ought to be paid for... lol...
I spoke with the tech earlier and he will be out monday to fix it but I have to pay him, and I've never had to do that, so I guess it will be up then! I'll post a new full post on Monday if it's fixed! Sorry y'all!
